CARAMEL CAKE w/ CARAMEL FROSTING & FLEUR DE SEL


Thanks to the star of this month's daring bakers challenge, Shuna Fish Lydon, of Eggbeater, for her recipe; and to Alex of Blondie and Brownie, Jenny of Foray into Food, and Natalie of Gluten-a-Go-Go for hosting this month.

Caramel syrup heated to smoke point:


Browned butter:


The cake:


The salt:


Frosted, will get a better pic tomorrow.
